Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can I calculate business days or operating days for a store or company?
A. Yes, you can. By checking the weekdays that are regular closing days for your store or company and selecting Holidays, you can count only the actual operating days. Please use it for business deadline management or checking store operating days.
Q. Is there a limit to the period that can be calculated?
A. There is no particular limit. You can freely set periods in the past or future, from looking back over decades of history to counting down to a deadline just a few days away.
However, when you calculate with Exclude Holidays enabled, please note that for dates extremely far in the past or future, holiday data may not be available and accurate calculation may not be possible.
Q. Can I return only some of the excluded dates to the calculation target?
A. Yes, you can. For example, after calculating with Holidays excluded, if you want to include only specific holidays in the day count, open the Excluded dates list shown in the calculation result. Uncheck the dates you want from the list and click Recalculate with these settings to see the result with only those dates returned to the calculation target.
Q. Is the content I entered saved?
A. Yes. The input data is stored only in your browser by using localStorage.
The dates you enter and the checkbox states are saved on your own device, so you can continue where you left off the next time you visit.
On this site, language settings, time zones, and the entered date range are temporarily referenced only to correctly determine holidays and auto-select regions, but none of this information is ever collected or recorded on the server side.

Because the core calculation process runs entirely in your own browser, you can use the tool without worrying about privacy.

About Holiday Data

The holiday data used by this tool is obtained from Google Calendar API holiday calendars. Because the content and update timing depend on Google public calendars and the public announcements of each country and region, this site cannot guarantee the completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of the data, and cannot accept responsibility for any damages or other losses arising from the use of that data.

  • The country and region select box displays only the countries and regions for which holiday data retrieval is currently supported by the data source.
  • Holiday determination follows the official data provided by Google Calendar. For regions where data is not provided, or for years that have not yet been announced, calculations excluding holidays cannot be performed.
  • The available range for future and past years, as well as names and counts, differ by country and region and may change due to specification changes or changes in published content on the Google side.
